Founded in 1821 and named after the city in California, Berkeley is a small town in the northeastern corner of Missouri. The area is also known for its fertile soil, which is why the area was once home to several small-scale agricultural companies. Today, Berkeley is best known as the home of Boeing and portions of Lambert International Airport.
